history •
born between the edges of coerthas and the shroud, lacie grew up helping her family care for their herd of karakul. She learned to spin their wool, to construct garments and embroider, to fish and forage, and even how to make cheeses with their milk for trade. her family was nomadic, choosing to stay with their herd as they moved from grazing site to site. later in life, her nomadic tendencies stirred the desire to travel beyond the herd's patterns. she wanted to see , do, and learn more than she could with them. so, lacie left, tearfully but excited for her new found adventures ahead.

appearance •
lacie is a small, timid presence, but that presence can still be noticeable. her features are often a little timid, or held back, but occasionally she will let her polite and shy demeanor fall and have outbursts of emotion when they are too great to contain. her most notable features are her eyes. her right is her void eye, iris and pupil wholly black. her left is pale, with a black beauty mark centered directly beneath it -- this is her aether eye. she often wears dark lipstick, nearly black in color. her cheeks are regularly flushed, a soft pink spreading from cheekbone to cheekbone, crossing the bridge of her upturned nose. her hair is typically an ashy blonde, with pale blonde highlights.aesthetics •

personality •
a bit of a wallflower at heart, lacie is trying to break out of her shell more these days. she has to, after all; she knows very few people outside of the family she left behind. the hyur is generally soft-spoken. she prefers to study, researching the mythos, but will otherwise be found out in the world gathering things to survive. lacie takes pride in her work, and puts her all into everything she does.

upon arriving in gridania, lacie found work helping out at mih ketto's amphitheater. as she worked, she would study the choreography, so that she could practice at home in her spare time. eventually, she tried out for a spot in the troupe. lacie was a quick learner, and she was later scouted to learn the art of dancing for battle. though hesitant to enter the fray, she was eager as ever to learn more, and accepted.

growing up in a nomadic family, she was taught how to survive from a young age. nowadays, she gathers for her tradecrafts, as well as occasionally fishing purely for pleasure.
